I get this question often. It’s not a short or easy answer, but I help develop people. Sometimes it happens inside an organization facilitating an activity with an intact work team to improve performance and enhance communication. Other times it’s encouraging a first-generation grad student who is brilliant and hard working, but oh boy can imposter syndrome get in the way. Still others, it is listening deeply to a private coaching client who is grappling with a complex business problem and is trusting me as a thinking partner.

Everything I do revolves around developing others in a way that is evidence based and grounded in solid research. That way, I know it’s the best approach to get us the results we’re looking for.
